Academy exercises
The exercises run in your browser. What you type stays in the page’s memory. It is not sent to LUXD or saved by this website, and it is lost when you reload or close the page. Downloads are made on your own device.
Lesson progress
When you mark a lesson as done, this website remembers only the course and lesson names in this browser tab. It stores no exercise answers or personal details. Progress normally ends when the tab closes, although your browser may restore it when reopening a previous session. Use “Clear my progress” in the Academy to remove it.
Product concept demonstration
The LUXD Method concept uses fictional data. Project selections and checklist changes stay in page memory and reset when you reload. Nothing is saved to an account or sent to LUXD.
Enquiries and the contact form
When you use the contact form, the name, email address, message and optional link you enter are sent to this website’s server and delivered by email to William at william@luxd.co.uk. LUXD LTD uses them to reply to your enquiry and, for partner role applications, to assess how you might work with LUXD.
The form asks Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you are a person. Cloudflare receives technical information from your browser for that check. If a message cannot be sent from the page, the form prepares an email draft in your own email app instead, and nothing is sent until you send that email.
The email is delivered by Resend, an email delivery service, and read in William’s mailbox, which is hosted by Google Workspace. Cloudflare hosts this website and may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver it securely. To keep a copy and to limit abuse, Cloudflare can also hold a copy of each message with your country for up to 12 months, and scrambled versions of your IP address and email address for 24 hours. These providers handle your information only to provide those services, and some may process it outside the UK.
Partner role applications
Information you send when you apply for a partner role, including contact details, portfolio links and background experience, is used strictly to evaluate candidate fit and potential project collaboration with LUXD LTD. LUXD LTD does not sell it or share it with anyone else for their own use. The providers named above handle it only to deliver the service.
How long it is kept
Messages and applications are kept securely for up to 12 months from the day you send them, so that LUXD LTD can reply to you, scope projects and assess partner applications. They are then deleted, or sooner if you ask or the conversation has stopped. If you become a client, LUXD LTD keeps the records the law requires.
Who is responsible, and your rights
LUXD LTD (company number 17465024, registered office Flat 1b, 153 Wandsworth Bridge Road, London, Greater London, SW6 2TT, England) decides how your information is used. It uses your name, email address and message to reply to you and, if you ask about work, to take steps at your request before any agreement is made. It also uses them for its legitimate interest in running the business, such as assessing a partner application, where that does not override your privacy. Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the information held about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how it is used, or to object to its use. To do any of these, email william@luxd.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

Enquiries sent through this website’s contact form, including Design project enquiries, are covered by this notice. Bookings and forms on luxd.design are covered by the luxd.design privacy notice. Email links open your own email app, and nothing is sent until you send the email.
